Project Update!
Ana: Redesigned the terrain to be completely low poly. I added a different skybox and physical clouds on top of the environment. I designed the right side of the terrain to be snowing/colder and the left to be on the "warmer" side. The next step I'll be taking is to add more details, like different shapes, sizes and types of trees and maybe a water stream and animate the clouds to circulate throughout the environment.
Weston:For the current section of the project I was mainly focused on creating menu systems. Menus in VR can be difficult to get right, and I wanted a system that would be easy to interact with and not distracting while playing. I tried to limit the amount of information on screen in the form of UI to the bare minimum of score and the level timer so the player's environment wouldn't feel cluttered by data. I also created a gazed based button input to start the game. Because of this, our game is now set up in a way that a player would never need to use any buttons at all.

Macy: I worked on the animation of the birds. I found assets of crows, cardinals, blue jays, chickadee, sparrow, robin, and our smallest goldfinch. All the birds fly in a certain why and randomly spawn throughout the game. The animation took a while to work on and my teammates helped me out with scripting for the randomization. At the moment, I made a small world for placement but later our "finalize" world was complete.
